We work with all abilities. From novice triathletes to double iron man and even Arch to Arc hopefuls (the ultimate tri). A vast majority of triathletes find the swim leg of the tri the most taxing, even though many can cycle and run mile after mile.
Our open water sessions help make that transition from the safety of the pool to the excitement and sometimes daunting open water. For novices we help you adjust to the temperature and ever changing conditions of open water, sighting and the seemingly impossible task of swimming in a straight line! For the more experienced we work on pacing, drafting and race day skills. We do cover some technique on our group sessions but we suggest a 1:1 session if you want to work on your stroke .
Total Immersion specialises in re-tooling the swimming strokes of competitive swimmers at any level or age, from nine upwards, and this, without fail, results in significant performance gains . Learn to swim the way elite swimmers do in Freestyle ,Backstroke, Breaststroke or Butterfly. Develop a solid foundation of swimming efficiency and economy and become a “complete” swimmer. The emphasis is on correct stroke mechanics.
For swimmers who would just like to improve their swimming. Many of us swim 3-4 times a week for fitness but don’t really think about technique. Poor technique can cause injury and frustration so pop along to see us and we could give your swimming a boost

We pride ourselves on achieving a good swimming technique and efficient breathing for every child and have an instructor in the water at all times. Our aim is to make children feel confident and supported by the water before working on the specific strokes. Once we begin stroke mechanics our children find it very easy to understand and impressively swim beautiful strokes effortlessly.
As a customer you will be given access to our new online members section where you will be able to view your video analysis from each lesson. You will also be able to access other learning resources and have dialogue with your coach between lessons. This service is offered for FREE as part of your lesson.
